Fest Anča už pomaly kráča na Stanicu Žilina-Záriečie a chystá sa 30. júla až 1. augusta 2010 opäť poodhaliť sukničku a ukázať množstvo animovaných filmov, tento krát naozaj pre všetkých. Od videoklipov, detských filmov až po máličko šteklivé animáky s hviezdičkou pre dospelých, krátkych až po celovečerné, jednoducho bude to jedinečná možnosť vidieť všetko, čo sa čo i len trochu obtrelo o animáciu. Nemenej napínavá bude i medziná…rodná súťaž Anča Award, kde o priazeň trojčlennej medzinárodnej poroty, menovite Rutu Modan (ISR), Michal Struss (SK) a Igor Prassel (SLO), bude bojovať 23 snímkov z 15 krajín. Nielen hlasom poroty je víťaz živý, preto v súťaži Takmer, ktorú Anča pripravila v spolupráci s tv.sme.sk, môžete vyberať vášho favorita práve vy! Hlasovať môžete na http://tv.sme.sk/fest_anca /

Aby neostal ukrátený ani bežný návštevník festivalu, nachystala Fest Anča obľúbenú súťaž Animation Karaoke Battle. Stačí nazbierať dostatok odvahy, nebrať veci príliš vážne a podujať sa na živé sprevádzanie náhodne vybranej sekvencie z animovaného filmu. Je to príležitosť pre všetkých, ktorým vládne neskonalá potreba komentovať, hovoriť, opisovať a vymýšľať si. Aj keď je súťaž otvorená komukoľvek, počet účastníkov je obmedzený. Záujemcovia o účinkovanie v súťaži sa môžu prihlásiť na info@festanca.sk.

Domácim kutilom má Fest Anča v pláne ulahodiť workshopmi a dielňami, kde sa môžu čo im ruky ráčia kultivovať a zdokonaľovať. Naučiť sa môžete napríklad animovať v 3D, ako sa tvorí komiks, či pripravuje scenár. V špeciálnom vydaní Pecha Kucha Ancha sa zas dozviete, čo, kto, s kým ako, za čo a či vôbec. Na iné myšlienky vás privedie Braňo Jobus so svojimi rozprávkami a po večeroch si môžete zahopsať na koncertoch kapely Med, či Dva a do úplného vybitia bateriek sa vyblázniť na žúroch so Stroon-om, či Pjonim & Ink Migdetom.
Celý festival po vyhlásení výsledkov zakončíme na Mariánskom námestí filmom Panika v mestečku, ktorý sme pre vás pripravili v spolupráci s Bažant Kinematografom.

Z celovečerákov sa určite oplatí vidieť španielsku snímku Animal Crisis.
Novinkou tohto ročníka sú projekcie v žilinskom kine Centrum. Tam sa môžete tešiť napríklad na Mary a Max, Renesanciu, Strach(y) z tmy, Trio z Bellevile, Koralínu a svet za tajnými dverami, či skvelý český animovaný film Jednej noci v jednom meste.


The Fest Anča is already heading to the Stanica Záriečie Cultural Center, where it will reveal its treasures and from 30th July to 1st August, it will screen many animated films for all kinds of viewers. Music videos, children´s cartoons, slightly piquant pictures for adults, short films, feature films, in a nutshell, at the venue, you will have a unique opportunity to see all sorts of things related to animation in many ways. Another exciting part of the event is the international contest Anča Award, in which 23 films from 15 countries will compete to win the favour of the international jury consisting of Rutu Modan (ISR), Michal Struss (SK) and Igor Prassel (SLO). But the winner does not necessarily have to be the one chosen by the jury. In the contest Takmer (Almost) organised in collaboration with the tv.sme.sk, the winner can be chosen by you! To keep every visitor satisfied, the Fest Anča has prepared the popular Animation Karaoke Battle. Anyone brave enough who does not take things too seriously can try and dub a randomly chosen sequence of an animated film. It is an opportunity for all those who like to comment, talk, describe and invent. Although the contest is for everyone, the number of participants is limited. You can enter for the battle at info@festanca.sk.

For „handymen“, there will be various creative workshops, where their hands and minds will have the liberty to learn and create. The visitors will get the possibility to learn to animate in 3D, to create a comic or to write a screenplay.
At the special edition of the Pecha Kucha Ancha you will find out who, what, with whom, how, why and if at all. The performance of Braňo Jobus reading his fairytales will take your mind to another world and when the evening comes, your body will move to the rhythm of the bands Med (SK) or Dva (CZ). If your batteries are still charged after these performances, the music played by Stroon Pjoni & Ink Migdet will be a good motivation to party until they go flat.
After the announcement of the winners, the festival will be concluded at the Mariánske Námestie Square, where the film A town called Panic will be screened in collaboration with the Bažant Kinematograf.

As for the feature films, we strongly recommend the Spanish Animal Crisis.
The projections in the Žilina cinema Centrum, will be this year´s novelty of the festival. The pictures Mary and Max, Rennaissance, Fear(s) of the Dark, The Triplets of Belleville, Coraline and the beautiful Czech animated film One Night in the City and many other films will be to see and enjoy there.

Here is another video that PZ put up on the Blogger site a while back. Since I’ve posted some Bosetti today, I figure this would be a good time to repost this. I like the method and concept of this video - playing a classical piece to someone, having them sing to it, and reconstructing that singing into a group. This plays on typical themes in Bosetti’s work, including collage-type pieces and the nature of language. Also at play here is an appreciation for the natural melody in speech, and the powerful sound of a foreign language.
